The Role
We're looking for a dedicated leader for our customer reporting and terminal configuration team in Timisoara. You as a teamleader, play a critical role in working together and supporting the existing team, with focus on people development, process improvement and dedication to our clients.
Location: Timișoara, Romania, or Germany with a willingness to regularly spend at least one year on-site in Timișoara.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Development of the Consultant Support Team:
- Establish and develop a high-performing team, including coaching and fostering employee growth.
- Take responsibility for knowledge building and fostering proactivity within the team.
- Identify and address existing challenges in the team, particularly in the areas of knowledge transfer and process optimization.
- Enhance the team’s efficiency and productivity.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Create and customize reports using Jasper Reporting Studio, including Java-based scriptlets.
- Implement conditional formatting in ASES and replace existing Groovy scripts.
- Coordinate team efforts in international projects.
Process Optimization and Quality Assurance:
- Implement and continuously improve processes to ensure high-quality standards.
- Promote efficient collaboration with other internal teams and clients.
Team Bonding and Collaboration:
- For German candidates: Ideally, spend regular time on-site in Timișoara to strengthen the team and foster a strong working culture.
Key Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Several years of experience, preferably in team leadership or extensive project management. Ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Technical Expertise: Solid knowledge of Jasper Reporting Studio, Java programming, and experience with Groovy scripts is preferred.
- Experience: Translating customer requirements into internal specifications for the team.
- Educational Qualifications: A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Natural Sciences, or a comparable qualification.
- Personal Skills: Solution-oriented work style, high proactivity, and excellent communication skills. Willingness to take responsibility and drive change.
- Language Skills: Fluency in German and English (spoken and written) is mandatory; Romanian language skills are an advantage.
