Job Purpose:
Sandoz, a global leader in Generic and Biosimilar medicines, is seeking a Team Lead, Competitive Intelligence for its Hyderabad location. This role is critical in driving strategic business decisions by gathering and analyzing competitive data. Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Leadership & Strategy:

Lead competitive intelligence teams supporting various stakeholder groups

Ensure coordinated efforts across teams and connect insights effectively to organisational objectives

Drive innovation in CI methodologies, transitioning from fragmented outputs to unified intelligence delivery
Competitive Analysis:
-
Monitor and analyse market dynamics, competitor strategies, regulatory trends, and portfolio implications
-
Deliver timely, high-quality CI insights tailored to therapy areas and business units

Conduct deep dives on critical topics aligned with organisational goals
Team Development:
-
Identify, train, and grow talent within the CI team

Provide guidance for generating impactful CI insights with strategic implications
Operational Excellence:

Optimise CI processes for efficiency and scalability
-
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting critical deadlines

Leverage CI databases including IPD Analytics, Cortellis, Alphasense, and Evaluate Pharma
Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including market dynamics and regulatory environments

Expertise in competitive intelligence tools and databases

Innovative mindset with continuous improvement focus

Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills
What you’ll bring to the role:
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Advanced degree in Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology / Life Sciences, and/or Management or related fields
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in competitive intelligence roles within pharma or consulting organizations (experience in biosimilar / generics domain is preferred)
Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
