The Team Lead, Business Intelligence (BI) Analytics plays a critical role in managing a team of analysts who build visualizations, query the enterprise data warehouse, and deliver insights that drive strategic decision-making. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to transform complex data into actionable intelligence for key stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities:

What You Will Do

In all of your duties, you will have a relentless, obsessive, yet disciplined approach to manage all details to perfection and deliver desired results.

• Lead a team of BI Analysts responsible for creating visualizations, querying the data warehouse, and presenting insights to leadership.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable analytics solutions and strategic data insights.

• Analyze sales and service data to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the Commercial Sales and Service division.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and visualizations used to track key performance metrics.

• Provide mentorship, coaching, and ongoing professional development to team members.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through strong data governance and quality assurance best practices.

• Present insights, findings, and data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.

• Support a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

In addition to that, we require:

• Baccalaureate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Four or more years of direct experience using analytics software or other data analysis tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience using data visualization software.

• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings succinctly.

• Excellent planning, organization, and presentation skills.

• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Background must demonstrate the ability to operate effectively within a complex, fast-paced environment.

We will give special consideration to candidates who have:

• Graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Five or more years of directly related analytics experience.

• Experience using Business Objects Web Intelligence, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, R, SPSS, or SAS.

• Experience leading or mentoring a team.

• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and visualization platforms (SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Power BI).

• Experience using data models and ERDs.

• Experience developing data stories and highly innovative dashboards, analytics models, or insights frameworks.
