As a Team Lead Business Analysis you will support the Senior Manager Business Analysis in managing and leading the RAC Business Analysis capability, adapting and applying standard business analysis practises to support the delivery of business value.
This is a 12 month max term opportunity initially.
What will you be doing?
Lead the successful management and delivery of analysis for complex initiatives, including the identification, assessment, implementation and embedding of fit-for purpose solutions.
Liaise and collaborate with key stakeholders to grow trusted relationships that support alignment with strategic goals.
Encourage networking, knowledge sharing and collaboration across the Business Analyst community.
Lead people - support the recruitment of the right talent, manage performance, and support career development, including mentoring and coaching junior staff in the practise of Business Analysis.
Work closely with Senior Manager Business Analysis to support analysis and resource planning, monitoring, and estimation.
Plan and deliver business process, system and change initiatives including managing schedules, tasks, stakeholders and change.
Lead specific work packages end-to-end, including understanding current and future states, engaging relevant business representatives, producing deliverables and providing input into change and communications planning and delivery.
Manage requirement traceability across all requirement levels (Business Needs, Business Requirements, Stakeholder Requirements, Solutions Requirements, and Transition Requirements) and through the project and solution development lifecycles.
Provide recommendations for improving systems and processes, including experimenting and testing options, performing cost benefit analysis, measuring implementation success, and sharing lessons.
Assist with coordinating dependencies between initiatives, including identifying opportunities to improve both the quality and efficiency of analysis across initiatives in the RAC Project Portfolio.
Conduct analysis in a variety of business and delivery contexts, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments.
Work collaboratively with business users to identify impacts of proposed solutions on people, processes and systems, and to determine the best solution or outcome.
What are we looking for in you?
Tertiary qualifications in Technology/Commerce/Business highly desirable.
Certification or qualification in Business Analysis (IIBA CCBA/CBAP or BCS BA Certifications preferred).
Extensive experience in successful delivery of complex business-led change and transformation initiatives.
Extensive experience applying a range of business analysis techniques in different business contexts.
Management and/or leadership experience in a large customer-focused organisation in similar role.
An understanding of operations, sales and/or insurance environments is highly desirable.
Post Graduate Qualification in Technology/Commerce/Business (or progression towards) is desirable.
Additional certification covering at least one Business Analysis perspective or aligned discipline is desirable (e.g. IIBA CDA/AAC/CCA/CPO, BCS Certifications, ISC2, TOGAF, Business Architecture Guild CBA, PRINCE2/PMP, UX Design etc.).
