  • 7am-4pm, rotating (must be available morning, evening, weekends and holidays if needed for coverage)
  • Reports to the Supply Chain Manager of the applicable hospital and oversees daily operational activities of supply chain associates in areas of inventory management and receiving.  
  • The Team Coordinator (supervisor) will represent Supply Chain with the respective hospital leadership in conjunction and in the absence of the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Trains, coaches, mentors and supervises all Supply Chain Associate I & II.
  • Creates and maintains a work schedule for Supply Chain Associates that ensures hospital needs are met as it related to the distribution of products managed under Supply Chain.
  • Responsible for the delivery of high-quality services that meets or exceeds customer expectation. Assist in the training and development of a highly motivated team that work efficiently and effectively in providing services to hospital departments and operating centers.  
  • Interact with the nursing staff
  • Insure old goes out first in the warehouse: organize the warehouse.
  • Must have clean driving record
  • Acts as department lead when necessary.  
  • Achieve system, hospital and departmental goals and objectives.
  • Supports and communicates Sentara mission, values, and goals. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Five years of Supply Chain Management experience required. Three years of supervisory experience preferred.
