WHAT YOU’LL DO:

At Optiver, no two days are the same. In your role as Team Assistant your primary focus will be to support our Technology Team Leads. This is a completely new role within Optiver, a role you can build and really make your own. Have a great idea?  In short, as Team Assistant your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate the technology team leads and the technology department within Optiver Europe, collaborating with global counterparts.
  • Provide comprehensive diary management support to the Technology Team Leads.
  • Arrange travel logistics, including flight bookings and accommodation reservations.
  • Compile information and create presentations and documents for meetings.
  • Complete monthly expense reports.
  • Coordinate HR-related administration tasks.
  • Act as an ambassador for the technology team leads, particularly during times of absence from the business (i.e., when traveling), ensuring they are fully appraised of any important developments.
  • Administer and oversee tasks of direct reports, ensuring they are executed to a high standard.
  • Liaise with internal and external overseas counterparts, particularly those based in the US and Asia.
  • Coordinate internal and external events, from team-building activities to relationship-building events.
  • Coordinate ad-hoc projects from planning to execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.
  • Support the delivery of the business strategy.
  • Attend internal and external meetings to take comprehensive minutes and actions when required.


WHO YOU ARE:

Optiver needs our next t Assistant to be someone with:

  • An academic degree.
  • Proven experience as an EA/PA.
  • Proven Project Management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Advanced computer skills in all Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word and Outlook.
  • An excellent understanding of organizational processes.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
  • A service-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Handles confidential and sensitive information discreetly at all times.
  • A results-driven mindset, self-motivation, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
