Teaching Assistant - Special Educational Needs

VIE is unique – we offer not only impressive special needs programmes and a British curriculum, we also provide support beyond classroom learning, thus ensuring that we meet academic, social and emotional and life skills for all of our students.

• Manages and supervises the classroom and children.
• Instructs and supervises children under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
• Prepare materials for classroom.
• Attends all meetings.
• Attends training days for continued professional development (CPD).
• Carries out playground and lunchtime supervision, according to the staff duty roster.
• Support after school club
• Maintain safe environment for children in her care.
• Other related duties as assigned school.
• Will follow direction of the class teacher
• Will follow the lesson plans supplied by the teacher
• Attend staff meetings.
• Will be required to run or assist with an ECA at least one term per school year, extra payment will only be paid for Saturday ECAs and is to be agreed with the directors

Requirements:
1. Thai National
2. Bachelor’s degree (any related field)
3. Experience working with children
4. Have a reasonable level of spoken English
5. Be punctual and hardworking
6. Be self motivated
