Position Summary: 

  • Instruction in conference sections; 

  • availability for student consultation/office hours; 

  • attendance in class lectures (when required by instructor); 

  • grading of papers, exams, and other course components; 

  • consultation with course instructor; 

  • assistance in the preparation of course materials. 

 
Qualifications: 

  • Must be graduate student enrolled at McGill University; all fields considered;

  • Students with an undergraduate B.A., IDS Honors/Joint Honors encouraged to apply;

  • Demonstrable knowledge of world development preferred;

  • Good academic standing;

  • Sensitivity to issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion strongly encouraged;

  • Students enrolled in the Development Studies graduate option strongly encouraged to apply;

  • Effective communication skills.
