Supports the PHAR 540 course by attending classes, assessing participation, setting up and invigilating exams, marking proposals, reviewing exams with students, and posting course files to myCourses. Requires graduate-level study, prior completion of specified pharmacology courses, strong English communication, attention to detail, and knowledge of microbiology and immunology theory and techniques.

Strong immunology knowledge, time management, and English communication skills are required.

Assist with communications and promotional materials for a German Studies exhibit. Responsibilities include coordinating with guests and partners, transporting and installing posters, organizing reception refreshments, and completing other light delegated tasks. Intermediate German proficiency is required, along with English communication skills and authorization to work in Canada.

Assist with PHAR 201 Introduction to Pharmacology 2 by attending classes, running tutorials, preparing and invigilating exams, marking midterm and final exams, reviewing exams with students, and posting course files to myCourses. Candidates must be graduate students who passed PHAR 562 and PHAR 563 or equivalent, communicate effectively in English, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

Conduct an internationally recognized research program on regulated plant pests, invasive species, and quarantine organisms affecting Canadian agriculture. Develop externally funded research in pest biology, diagnostics, epidemiology, management, and climate-change responses. Teach undergraduate plant-pest and pesticide courses and graduate Integrated Pest Management. Collaborate with government, industry, international plant-health organizations, and interdisciplinary academic partners while contributing to committees and professional societies.

Sets up and operates audiovisual equipment for concerts, lectures, workshops, meetings, and other CIRMMT events. Records events, schedules equipment and rooms, answers user questions about equipment use, maintains work areas, and supports event infrastructure under supervision. Leads statistical genetics and bioinformatics research involving genome-wide association studies, polygenic scores, Mendelian randomization, and integration of genetic, proteomic, transcriptomic, and clinical datasets. Develops reproducible analysis pipelines, analyzes large-scale cohort data on high-performance computing clusters, supports grant and manuscript preparation, mentors research staff and students, and ensures compliant data management and documentation.
