The role requires graduate-level biostatistics or epidemiology training, proficiency with statistical methods and software, experience analyzing and interpreting data, and strong teaching and communication skills.

Develops and implements internal communications strategies, campaigns, and content for medical school students, faculty, and staff. Advises clients, translates complex policies into accessible materials, manages web content and communications channels, supports events, creates templates and style guides, and monitors communications performance. The role collaborates with university leadership, student groups, teaching hospitals, and faculty communicators while ensuring consistent, accurate, and engaging messaging across the School of Medicine.

Manages high-volume research grant competitions and agreements across federal, provincial, and international funding programs. Advises researchers on funding opportunities, proposal processes, sponsor policies, and pre- and post-award administration. Drafts, reviews, and negotiates research contracts and collaboration agreements, mitigates risks, coordinates stakeholders, supports reporting, and liaises with sponsors, universities, and nonprofit partners. Requires expertise in research funding administration, strong communication skills in English and French, and the ability to work independently within complex policies.

Supports instructors with student presentation scheduling, course material organization, interactive lab sessions, grading, exam administration, and feedback compilation. Answers student questions, clarifies concepts, communicates learning challenges to instructors, and assists with basic course management for a surgical innovation course.
