The Sydney School of Education and Social Work part of FASS, is seeking a Teaching and Curriculum Officer to join the team. In this role, you will provide a broad range of administrative support to help deliver teaching and curriculum activities across the School.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide administrative support for teaching and learning activities, including results processing, prize and scholarship administration, room bookings, and enquiry management using University, Faculty, and School systems

  • assist in the coordination and maintenance of curriculum information across University online platforms, School webpages, intranet sites, and publications

  • support School and Discipline Coordinators, as well as relevant School committees, by preparing agendas, taking minutes, maintaining accurate records, and following up on action items

  • liaise with central professional services units (PSUs) and other stakeholders to build effective working relationships and support the timely resolution of cases, issues, and operational matters.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in the higher education sector, with a sound understanding of student administration processes and academic activities.

  • strong digital literacy, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel)

  • proven ability to analyse and resolve problems, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes with strong attention to detail

  • excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to exercise initiative, build effective working relationships, and apply sound judgement in a professional environment.
