Position SummaryThe Preschool Aide assists in creating a positive learning environment that supports the growth, development, and individual needs of each child. Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the aide helps ensure a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom experience for all students.
- Assist in creating a learning and emotional environment that promotes each child's growth and development
- Support classroom activities, lesson preparation, and mealtimes
- Help maintain classroom management and implement daily schedules and routines
- Encourage positive behavior and a productive learning environment
- Support students with and without special needs
- Provide general supervision of children under the direction of the classroom teacher
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked classroom and building environment
- Assist with before-school and after-school wraparound childcare programs
- Perform other duties as assigned

What We Do
Whispering Pines Preschool is a private early childhood center serving children ages 3–5, including Universal Pre-Kindergarten students and children with special needs. It provides inclusive preschool education, therapy, and individualized support through certified educators and therapists, IEPs, and a team-based approach. Its play-based curriculum develops curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and social-emotional skills, with a mission to help every child reach their fullest potential.
