T&E Analyst

About This Role

The T&E Analyst plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing travel and expense processes across Gartner. This position ensures compliance with company policies and provides insights to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness in travel and expense management.

What you'll do:

• Perform/provide reporting and analysis for travel and expense data to identify trends, improvement opportunities and cost savings.
• Understand end to end processes that depend and are dependent on T&E processes.
• Drive process improvements via automation and elimination using metrics
• Identify and implement process standardization
• Understand multiple internal areas including AP, Accounting and Financial System processes and company initiatives to investigate and resolve issues raised or identified.
• Train and guide new hires in both processes and improvement mindset.
• Support the implementation of new T&E technologies and processes.
• Prepare regular reports on T&E performance, customer service and metrics for management review.
• Serve as a backup for a variety of duties/functions in T&E

What you'll need:

• Bachelor’s in Finance/Business Administration or related field preferred
• Proficiency in advanced MS Excel is a must have
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance role or related role.
• Experience working in a global organization is preferred.
• Motivated, high-potential performer, with demonstrated ability to influence and lead
• Intermediate understanding of technology proficiency and systems, Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret trends and make recommendations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change
• Consistently high achiever marked by perseverance, humility and a positive outlook in the face of challenges
• Strong initiative and willingness to take on projects in proactive manner
• Work collaboratively with global partners to create accurate and efficient processes
• Strong customer service skills with individuals at all levels inside and outside the organization
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 70,000 USD - 97,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
