Be accountable for line hold disposition and root cause investigation
Work with US based team to drive investigations and corrective actions forward.
Communicate daily with all levels of the organization across factories.
Partner with cross functional team to identify and drive improvements in manufacturability, yield, performance, quality and reliability for our power products.
Participate in reviews to ensure design for manufacturability best practices are followed. Ramp new products released from R&D while monitoring performance and driving improvements.
Create and update detailed documentation for processes and procedures.
Direct and manage design implementation of required process changes and modifications.
Plan, conduct and direct complex projects or major phases of significant projects.
Work directly with contract manufacturing engineering and manufacturing personnel and equipment suppliers.
Prevent quality excursions, monitor process performance, and compile and analyze data to detect any process or product anomalies
Identify and implement items for improvement including upgrades to equipment and process
Job Requirement
5 years or more of experience in a manufacturing field with Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Process, or Industrial Engineering or Applied Science
Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaborative and project management skills with demonstrated ability to identify manufacturing improvements, manage changes and implement solutions. Ability to work with a sense of urgency
Working knowledge and experience with engineering tools such as FMEA, SPC, Pareto Analysis, Design of Experiments and structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5-Why, DMAIC)
Experience delivering results to meet required deadlines in a fast-paced high-volume manufacturing environment
Experience leading a team of engineers and technicians.
