What’s the opportunity?

We are seeking a Tax Technology Specialist with a strong background in accounting or tax, combined with experience in technology-driven solutions. This role will focus on the SAP S/4HANA implementation for tax-specific areas and countries, ensuring the successful integration of tax functionality within the system. Additionally, the role will contribute to broader digital initiatives within the tax department, including process automation and optimization projects. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging technology to enhance tax operations, streamline internal controls, and improve reporting accuracy. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration and optimization of tech tools for the tax team.

What will I be doing?

• Lead the configuration and integration of tax modules within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring the system supports all tax-related processes and meets group-wide requirements.
• Support the adoption of automation and digital solutions within the tax department, including the use of RPA tools and AI technologies to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.
• Provide ongoing support for the SAP system, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of the tax department. Troubleshoot technical issues and work with IT and external vendors to resolve them.
• Identify opportunities for process automation within tax operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement digital tools that enhance workflow efficiency.
• Ensure that all digital systems and tools are aligned with company policies and compliance requirements, supporting tax reporting and ensuring data integrity.
• Work closely with finance, IT, and tax teams to ensure that SAP and other digital tools are effectively integrated and optimized for tax compliance and reporting.

What skills do I need?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience in Tax or Accounting Technology is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in accounting or tax, with hands-on experience in SAP implementation or configuration. Prior experience with tax technology or software integration projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA with a focus on tax functionality.
• Familiarity with RPA tools and AI technologies to automate and enhance tax operations.
• Ability to research and implement digital solutions to improve tax workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on tech-driven solutions.
• Strong communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced English.
