ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions and Primary Duties
- Tax Compliance
- Assist in the preparation and review of complex individual and family tax returns for high net worth clients.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather necessary information for tax filings.
- Tax Planning Support
- Contribute to the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for high net worth individuals and families.
- Assist in researching and analyzing tax issues to provide recommendations for clients.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and communicate their impact to the team and clients.
- Client Interaction
- Build and maintain positive relationships with high net worth clients.
- Respond to client inquiries as well as to notices from various tax authorities and provide support on related matters.
- Assist in client meetings and presentations as needed.
- Research and Analysis
- Conduct tax research to stay informed about new regulations and industry developments.
- Analyze financial data and documents to identify tax planning opportunities and potential issues.
- Present findings to senior team members and clients.
- Collaboration and Teamwork
- Work closely with other tax professionals and departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide support to tax managers and directors as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning, preferably with exposure to high net worth clients.
- Previous experience in public accounting or a similar tax-related role is beneficial.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field
- 1 year supervisory experience preferred
- CPA candidates preferred
- Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Must be able to travel based on client and business needs

Skills Required
