Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Tax Specialist, is responsible to be compliant with local tax regulations/ requirements; propose recommendations and implement actions to mitigate tax risks;
He or she is also responsible for contacting customers on a daily basis on outstanding payments day to day processing of financial transactions and ensures that Accounts Receivable (A/R) is updated in an effective and accurate manner; monitoring credit control by working closely with sales and customer service personnel and ensuring an effective and efficient credit control process.
Education / Professional Certification
Minimum Diploma in Tax & Accounting, and preferably ACCA (F6-Taxation)
Experience
7 to 10 years experience in Accounting environment & at least 3 years experience in Taxation
Knowledge / Skills / Other characteristics
- Tax regulations knowledge
- SAP experience, preferably in Accounts Receivable module
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Proactive and positive mindset
- Good command of spoken and written English
