Tax Specialist

Company Description

We are looking for a Tax Specialist who is responsible for preparation of tax computation of tax returns for both VAT and Excise Duty by collecting and inputting data with high level accuracy, quality and in accordance with agreed deadlines. Prepare, submit and review all tax returns and prepare amendment returns if needed.

Job Description

Preparation of tax computation for tax returns by collecting and inputting data with high level accuracy, quality and in accordance with agreed deadlines

Follow up on any tax refund process including risk analysis reports like GEKSİS, KDVIRA, OTVIRA

Complete tax related accounting activities upon which tax return depends including control checks of transactional data to identify any errors

Complete all tax operations activities like CIT, VAT, Excise Duty, Stamp Duty and similar which fall under tax compliance scope including return preparation and amendment preparation if needed

Support all tax/statutory audits both regular & ad hoc

Qualifications

Min 5 years’ experience in accounting, Big4 experience is an asset

Working knowledge about VAT, Excise Duty

Experience of using SAP

Very good working knowledge on MS Office

Taking initiatives and ownership of assigned tasks

Ensuring appropriate process documentation of procedures

Communicating with ext and int stakeholders in a very effective and professional way

Attention to the details and rely on deadlines
