We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Specialist with a primary focus on VAT compliance to join our team . This critical role ensures accurate VAT registration, compliance, and timely submissions across multiple jurisdictions, enabling seamless business operations in a complex tax landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- VAT Registration & Compliance:
- Manage VAT registration processes across various jurisdictions, ensuring full compliance with regional tax regulations.
- Stay updated on changing VAT laws and implement necessary adjustments to internal processes.
- VAT Returns Preparation:
- Accurately prepare and submit VAT returns within established deadlines.
- Address discrepancies, resolve tax issues, and liaise with authorities as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with internal teams to address the tax implications of business decisions and improve tax efficiency.
- Act as the subject matter expert on VAT for internal stakeholders.
- Transfer Pricing & Documentation:
- Support compliance with transfer pricing requirements, maintaining and organizing accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in tax management, with significant expertise in VAT compliance.
- Experience in the high-tech industry is highly desirable, particularly with companies focused on VPN, eSIM, or related technologies.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to navigate complex tax environments and implement efficient tax processes.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of VAT laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with transfer pricing principles and documentation requirements.

- At the moment, we do not sponsor visas in the EU. For Hong Kong, we require at least two years of working experience and a university degree in a related field. For Singapore and the UK, we can only sponsor visas for mid-career or above.
