Job Responsibilities  

• Assist partners on international clients with all facets of international tax consulting and compliance qualify control (QC)

• Work directly with clients on international matters.

• Performing international tax research and planning for clients of the firm;

• Exposure to various international specialties in our industry, for example:

• Foreign businesses expanding to the U.S

• US businesses expanding internationally

• Inbound real estate investments

• Investment, Hedge, and PE fund structuring

• Foreign “Voluntary Disclosure” projects

• IP migration strategies

• Expatriate and inpatriate tax planning

• International tax compliance review for outbound and inbound clients and businesses

• Foreign tax credit analysis and documentation FDII and GILTI planning

• Value Added Tax and indirect tax

• Crypto asset planning

• Assist with business development/identify opportunities 

Requirements 

• ·BA/BS degree in accounting and/or Masters degree in taxation

• CPA license or JD

• Minimum 5 years recent US tax experience;

• Minimum 4 years of experience in public accounting with a focus in International Tax

• Minimum of 3 years of US tax consulting/compliance experience in public accounting

• Experience with International Tax compliance including, but not limited to forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858 and 1118

• Written tax advice for the client

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Southern California, the compensation range for this position: $130,000-$170,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
