Tax Senior Associate, National Office (International)

Job Responsibilities  

• Exposure to various international specialties in our industry, for example:  

  • Foreign businesses expanding to the U.S  

  • US businesses expanding internationally  

  • Inbound real estate investments  

  • Investment, Hedge, and PE fund structuring  

  • Foreign “Voluntary Disclosure” projects  

  • IP migration strategies  

  • Expatriate and inpatriate tax planning  

  • International tax compliance review for outbound and inbound clients and businesses  

  • Foreign tax credit analysis and documentation FDII and GILTI planning  

  • Value Added Tax and indirect tax  

• Assist partners on international clients with all facets of international tax consulting and compliance quality control 

• Perform international tax research and planning for clients of the firm  

• Assist with business development/identify opportunities   

Requirements  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline  

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in US tax consulting/compliance within public accounting, with specific experience (in the U.S.) in International Tax  

Preferred Qualifications  

• Master’s Degree in Taxation   

• CPA or equivalent credential

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. In Northern California, the compensation range for this position: $87,500-$130,000. In Southern California, the compensation range for this position: $82,000-$125,000. In New York, the compensation range for this position: $82,000-$125,000. In Washington, the compensation range for this position: $82,000-$125,000. In Illinois, the compensation range for this position: $78,000-$110,000. In Colorado, the compensation range for this position: $78,000-$110,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
