Job Description
General/Position Summary
The Tax Department is responsible for global tax accounting, tax compliance, and tax planning for the Company. The International Tax Analyst, reporting to the Senior Tax Director – International will assist with the preparation/review of direct tax compliance and reporting for all countries outside North America, working closely with the Senior Tax Manager. The role will require working with financial data and working collaboratively with cross-functional team members, particularly finance and accounting.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports team in compiling and analysing financial data for direct compliance
- Supports preparation and/or review of direct tax returns
- Through training and on-the-job learning, develops a deeper understanding of direct tax systems in key International jurisdictions
- Supports transfer pricing operations for International jurisdictions
- Assists in review and reconciliation of period end tax balances (including use of BlackLine)
- Supports treasury processes through management of related tax compliance
Required Education Level
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent, or alternatively ACA/CTA (or equivalent).
Required Experience
Typically requires minimum of 3 years of direct tax experience in Top 10/corporate in-house tax department or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Knowledge/Skills
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Oracle
• Knowledge and experience in the following areas is an advantage, but not essential:
- Knowledge of OneSource Tax Provision and OneSource Income Tax
- Experience with Alteryx and/or Power BI
