Core Responsibilities
As a Tax Reporting and Compliance Manager, you’ll handle a variety of tax matters, including corporate income tax, reporting, and compliance. In this role, you will:
- Manage direct tax compliance and reporting for Denmark in close cooperation with internal and external tax partners.
- Lead the relationship with the Danish Tax Authorities as part of our enhanced Tax Governance framework.
- Collaborate with the Business Service Operations, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure end-to-end tax reporting and compliance.
- Provide support during tax audits and contribute to clear, transparent communication with authorities.
- Find opportunities to enhance automation, standardization, and scalability of tax processes.
- Drive improvements in documentation, reporting, and governance practices.
This role is based in Billund, Denmark, and offers the opportunity to work across global teams within the LEGO Group.
Play your part in our team succeeding
You’ll be part of the Global Tax team, responsible for managing all tax matters worldwide - from corporate and employment tax to customs and indirect tax. Working closely with the Tax Operations team in our Business Service Centres, you’ll help ensure that the LEGO Group maintains strong compliance, efficiency, and governance across all jurisdictions.
Do you have what it takes?
- Proven experience in Danish tax matters, ideally from both Big 4 advisory and in-house environments.
- Strong background in Danish corporate income tax compliance and tax accounting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to communicate complex tax topics clearly to non-specialists.
- Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to work.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
- SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% globally.
What would be an advantage?
- Experience with automation or digitalization of tax processes.
- Familiarity with international tax governance frameworks.
- A continuous improvement mindset and curiosity for exploring smarter ways of working.
