As a Client Tax E-Invoicing Senior Associate within the Client Tax Operations utility, you will execute key business objectives, manage tax operations processes, and oversee e-invoicing compliance across multiple markets. You will analyze business requirements, draft clear user stories, and promote program working groups to resolve open questions, define interlocks, and shape estimates, build plans, and testing approaches. In partnership with global LOB Operations teams, you will execute e-invoicing services and own day-to-day operations as the primary point of contact for aligned countries and lines of business. You will ensure e-invoicing compliance obligations are met, maintain a strong client-centric focus, and keep stakeholders informed through timely and transparent communication. You will safeguard a strong, stable operational environment by maintaining robust controls, checks, and balances, and by ensuring adherence to all control procedures, applicable laws, and regulations. You will maintain thorough knowledge of end-to-end process flows, SOPs, validation points, and demonstrate strong industry knowledge of international tax reclaims processing. You will influence technology roadmaps by recommending system enhancements and clearly articulating change management initiatives to stakeholders. You will develop and implement tools that improve quality and accuracy while identifying and executing process efficiencies in a controlled manner. You will make informed decisions in critical business scenarios to ensure accurate and timely completion of deliverables. You will collaborate with cross-LOB partners to deliver outcome-promoten improvements aligned to the strategic end state and the firm’s control framework.

Job responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for analyzing requirements and drafting user stories.
  • Drive program working groups to resolve open questions and define interlocks, estimates, build plans, and testing approach.
  • Partner with global LOB Operations teams to execute e-invoicing services.
  • Own day-to-day operations for the team, serving as point of contact for aligned countries/LOBs; ensure e-invoicing compliance obligations are met and stakeholders are kept informed.
  • Ensure a strong, stable operational environment with robust controls, checks, and balances, and adherence to control procedures.
  • Maintain a client-centric approach across the team.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of end-to-end process flows, SOPs, and validation points; demonstrate strong industry knowledge of International Tax reclaims processing.
  • Influence technology on system enhancements and clearly articulate change management initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement tools to improve quality and accuracy; identify and implement process efficiencies in a controlled manner.
  • Make decisions on handling critical business scenarios to ensure accuracy and timely completion, liaising with cross-LOB partners to deliver outcome-driven improvements aligned to the strategic end state and controls.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.

 

  • Graduate or post-graduate with 8+ years of operations experience.
  • Familiarity with taxation and tax operations across multiple markets.
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC.
  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience as a business analyst and tester (mandatory).
  • Enthusiastic and articulate with excellent verbal and written communication; able to produce clear, concise, logical documentation.
  • Proven ability to operate in a high standards risk and control environment.
  • Client service and relationship management experience; able to communicate complex issues to internal and external stakeholders.
  • High emotional intelligence with strong networking and influencing skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities and Strong collaborator; works effectively in a team environment.
  • Results-driven with a hands-on approach; detail-oriented and able to manage conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills (including assessing evolving market practices, oversight metrics, identifying trends, and resolving complex issues) with strong MS Office proficiency (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project) and familiarity with AI tools.

  • Relevant Tax market knowledge or industry experience

  • Knowledge of financial markets and banking industry.

  • Advanced knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, and UI path.
