Job Duties: Associate, Transfer Pricing with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in New York, New York. Analyze intercompany transactions and collaborate across teams to determine and prepare Base Erosion Anti Abuse Tax (BEAT) and transfer pricing inputs for US Tax Returns, both monthly and annually. Lead transfer pricing projects, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors. Conduct functional analyses in collaboration with other functions and use them to develop, implement, and maintain appropriate transfer pricing policies in compliance with US Tax and OECD regulations. Evaluate the impact of new policies, updates to an existing transfer pricing policy, and prepare transfer pricing memos, disclosures of transfer pricing matters to tax governance groups and to tax authorities wherever applicable. Work with external advisors to prepare economic analyses, documentation to support transfer pricing methodologies, and Advance Pricing Agreement and Mutual Agreement Procedure applications. Provide transfer pricing audit support, including preparing responses to information and documentation requests. Provide strategic advice on transfer pricing matters to support business decisions and manage tax risks. Assist with tax automation initiatives to improve controls, reporting, and audit readiness.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree equivalent based on single degree, combination of degrees, combination of degree(s) and/or diplomas and/or certification(s) / membership(s) / professional credentials, where determined to be equivalent to U.S. bachelor's degree by a qualified credential evaluation service. Four (4) years of experience in job offered or a related role. Prior experience must include four (4) years of experience with the following: applying transfer pricing or international tax technical skills to cross-border transactions; supporting transfer pricing analyses in accordance with OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, including Functional, economic analysis and documentation support; preparing and reviewing transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking and economic analysis, and disclosures for compliance and audit readiness; collaborating with the cross-functional and cross-border teams on Transfer Pricing matters, such as functional, economic analyses, and calculating profitability and tax impacts for Transfer Pricing changes; supporting internal and external tax audits, including supporting and driving tax negotiations; and using advanced Excel tools, including pivot tables, for transfer pricing impact modelling, and preparing relevant presentations using PowerPoint.
Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York - based position is $122,000 - $157,000.
