SUMMARY: Reporting to Global Tax Director, this role is responsible for managing US tax compliance and accounting matters by partnering with third party advisors on quarterly and annual accounting for income taxes under ASC 740, annual income tax return compliance and indirect tax oversight. The Tax Manager may from time-to-time work with the tax team to identify and implement tax planning to reduce cash taxes, provide support on tax controversy matters both US (fed, US international and state) and where practical in rest of the world, and assist in international tax and transfer pricing. Be involved in budgeting for tax-related expenses, compliance with US state and local taxes, and sales & use tax. The role will also support the Global Tax Director with international tax matters, from time to time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own U.S. federal and state income tax compliance processes, including managing and reviewing returns prepared by external advisors.
- Lead preparation and review of quarterly and annual U.S. income tax provisions under ASC 740, including current and deferred tax calculations.
- Research and develop ASC 740 and ASC 450 US GAAP tax accounting matters and manage the company’s tax accounting policies.
- Oversee U.S. sales and use tax compliance prepared by external advisors and support business in indirect tax
- Support U.S. tax audits and notices and manage interactions with taxing authorities alongside external advisors.
- Support cash tax forecasting and planning
- Support legal entity rationalization while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor U.S. tax law changes and assess impacts on compliance, provision, and cash taxes.
- Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives as directed by the Global Tax Director
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Advanced analytical capabilities and experience with ASC 740 US GAAP tax accounting for US and foreign entity reporting
- Experience with tax research engines (CCH, RIA), tax accounting software (OTP, CorpTax), and financial consolidation software (OneStream, Oracle) is strongly preferred
- Developed organizational, process management and process improvement skills
- Results oriented and able to move from hands-on to strategic quickly and effectively.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and applicable databases.
- Adaptable and flexible and finds opportunity, in ambiguity
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Requires five years of relevant experience in US Corporate tax and accounting functions or 4 years in Tax and/or Accounting in public accounting firms
- Completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance is required
- Master’s degree in taxation and or CPA preferred
Salary range: $110,000 to $138,000
