Ondas is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Tax Manager to support the Company’s domestic and international tax activities across a growing global footprint. Reporting to the Director of Tax, this role will work closely with Finance teams, international controllers, and external tax advisors to support tax compliance, reporting, transfer pricing, and international tax matters.
The ideal candidate will bring corporate tax experience in a multinational environment, strong technical and project-management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesTax Compliance and Reporting- Work with external tax advisors to manage U.S. federal, state, and local income-tax compliance, including tax returns, extensions, estimated payments, and related filings.
- Coordinate international tax compliance with local controllers and third-party advisors.
- Support indirect-tax, withholding-tax, franchise-tax, and other applicable tax filings.
- Maintain tax calendars, compliance trackers, workpapers, and supporting documentation.
- Work with external tax advisors and assist with quarterly and annual income-tax provision processes under ASC 740, including deferred taxes, effective tax-rate analysis, uncertain tax positions, and disclosures.
- Reconcile tax accounts and support the accuracy of tax-related financial-statement balances.
- Support implementation of the Company’s global tax strategy and identify tax-planning opportunities.
- Analyze tax implications of business activities, including new entities, market expansion, restructurings, financing arrangements, and acquisitions.
- Monitor U.S. and international tax-law developments and assess their potential impact on the Company.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Payroll, Treasury, and Operations teams on tax-related initiatives.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of transfer-pricing policies and documentation for global entities.
- Coordinate local transfer-pricing compliance with international Finance teams and external advisors.
- Maintain intercompany agreements and support the tax analysis of intercompany services, licensing, financing, and other cross-border transactions.
- Assist with international tax reporting, withholding-tax analysis, foreign tax credits, and other cross-border tax matters.
- Support assessment of evolving global tax requirements, including OECD Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) and Pillar Two developments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field required.
- 5+ years of progressive corporate tax experience in public accounting, industry, or a combination of both.
- Experience with U.S. federal and state income-tax compliance and ASC 740 tax provision accounting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, project-management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and workstreams while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, international stakeholders, and external tax advisors in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
- CPA, Master of Taxation, JD, or equivalent advanced tax credential.
- Exposure to international tax, transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, and global tax compliance.
- Working knowledge of indirect tax, withholding tax, foreign tax credits, and tax-audit processes.
- Experience with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE tax software.
- Experience supporting multinational organizations, publicly traded companies, technology companies, defense-related businesses, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with tax considerations related to mergers and acquisitions, legal-entity restructuring, financing arrangements, and global expansion.
- Knowledge of evolving international tax standards, including OECD BEPS and Pillar Two requirements.
The base salary range for this Tax Manager position is $128,000–$140,000 per year. This range represents the good-faith estimate of the salary Ondas reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting.
Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable law. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, which may include annual incentive compensation, equity, health benefits, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits, subject to the terms of applicable plans and programs.
