About the Opportunity
The Tax Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's tax compliance, reporting, and tax planning activities. This role manages federal, state, and local tax obligations while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. The Tax Manager partners with internal stakeholders and external advisors to support strategic business initiatives, evaluate the tax implications of transactions, identify tax-saving opportunities, and minimize organizational risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for partnerships, LLCs, corporations, and other business entities.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings while maintaining compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze tax implications related to real estate acquisitions, dispositions, developments, refinancing activities, and other business transactions.
- Evaluate and manage property-specific tax matters including depreciation, cost segregation studies, partnership allocations, like-kind (Section 1031) exchanges, and other real estate tax strategies.
- Partner with internal leadership to assess the tax impact of proposed transactions, investments, and organizational initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls related to tax accounting, reporting, and compliance.
About You
The ideal candidate possesses a CPA, and has strong technical tax expertise, particularly in partnership taxation and commercial real estate, along with exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. This individual is detail-oriented and proactive, while supporting Oxford's long-term business objectives.

- Ability to analyze tax implications of real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, and refinancing
- Experience developing and maintaining internal controls related to tax accounting and reporting
