Tax Intern

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Tax Intern to assist with the preparation of individual and business tax returns and support our tax team during tax season. This internship offers hands-on experience in a public accounting setting and exposure to real client work.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of individual and business tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065)

• Organize and review client tax documents and workpapers

• Enter data into tax software accurately and efficiently

• Perform basic tax research as needed

• Assist with bookkeeping and reconciliations when necessary

• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to firm procedures

• Provide general administrative support to the tax team

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Basic knowledge of federal and state taxation preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Prior tax or accounting experience is a plus, but not required
