Job Title: Tax Coordinator

Location: This position is onsite in Irvine, CA.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $19-$20 per hour based on experience, qualifications, and skillset with potential opportunity for bonuses 

Position Overview:

As a Tax Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in gathering tax documents and financial information from clients, assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely tax filings. You'll work closely with our Tax Preparers and Tax Managers, ensuring all necessary documentation is efficiently collected and organized. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential as you liaise with clients and internal teams. Key Responsibilities:

The Tax Coordinator must be able to perform the following tasks:

• Collect and organize financial documents and records required for tax preparation.
• Communicate with clients to request missing or additional information as needed.
• Assist Tax Preparers in preparing accurate tax returns and filings.
• Maintain electronic filing systems for tax documentation.
• Follow up with clients and internal teams to ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide administrative support to the tax department as required.

Required Qualifications:

The Tax Coordinator must have the following experiences:

• Experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Proven experience in a similar role or internship in accounting or tax preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with tax preparation software preferred.
