Division
To strengthen the Tax Department, SD Worx is looking for a Tax Compliancy Manager. You will work closely with local and HQ finance teams.
The Tax Compliancy Manager reports directly to the General Tax Manager.
Work schedule: part-time (max. 4 days per week)

About the role
As Tax Compliancy Manager, you will help ensure high-quality, timely and consistent direct tax compliancy across the group, with a strong focus on Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and Withholding Tax (WHT) formalities.
Key responsibilities
Corporate Income Tax (CIT) compliancy
Coordinate and follow up on CIT compliancy obligations (planning, deadlines, validation/review, documentation and filing support).
Prepare and/or review key CIT deliverables (e.g., tax packs, reconciliations, supporting schedules) together with local finance teams.
Act as first-line support for CIT compliancy questions from internal stakeholders.
Withholding Tax (WHT) formalities
Follow up on WHT obligations and formalities (correct application, supporting documentation, certificates, exemption/relief processes where applicable).
Monitor recurring WHT compliancy tasks and help strengthen controls and consistency across entities.
Audits, authorities & external advisors
Support and coordinate responses to tax audits and ad hoc queries, ensuring data quality and timely follow-up.
Liaise with external tax advisors where specialist input is required.
Process excellence & continuous improvement
Map tax compliancy processes, identify risks and improvement areas, and implement pragmatic enhancements (templates, checklists, controls).
Contribute to tax reporting/process optimisation initiatives to improve efficiency, quality and transparency.
Knowledge & communication
Track changes in relevant tax legislation and translate them into practical process updates and guidance.
Deliver short internal updates/training sessions to improve tax awareness and compliancy readiness.
Knowledge & experience
Required
Master’s degree in Law or Economics with a tax specialisation (or equivalent by experience).
Relevant experience in direct tax compliancy (ideally in an international environment and/or a professional services setting).
Strong analytical mindset, well organised, and excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication skills; able to work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a results-oriented environment.
Ownership mentality and quality focus; comfortable coordinating across stakeholders.
Language & technical requirements
Dutch & English is required (written and spoken).
Required: solid knowledge of Belgian tax legislation.
Nice to have: knowledge of German and/or Polish tax legislation.
