In-depth understanding of India GST law and its other developments
Excellent understanding of India GST law & other GST developments/updates.
Understanding of unaddressed industrial issues of GST and their practical solution
Advice, planning and support on 'Goods & Service Tax' including advising
business functions.
Planning & ensuring end to end statutory compliances related to transaction
tax including preparation & filing of the returns
Should have worked on complex GST returns of medium/large sized enterprises with in-depth understanding of tax flows/linkages:
Should be conversant with current and changing statutory regulations and advice company on measures to be taken to obtain benefits /mitigate losses
In-depth understanding of linkages & touch points amongst various processes & finance groups
Responsible for tax audit and litigation working with external advisors
Should be able to draft replies of notices and represent the Organisation in front of the Tax Authorities on tax queries/questionnaires
Strong understanding of ERP skills (SAP) – should be able to decipher the tax reports and partner with tax technology on ERP implementations/tax set ups/developing tax logics
Excellent knowledge of tax accounting and general accounting
Excellent knowledge of MS- office

Qualifications
Semi-qualified accountants (CA-Inter, CWA-Inter), MBA (finance), Fresh qualified accountants (CA, CWA)
ICA Masters with 1-2 years of experience in transaction tax compliance within Agilent
Experience in indirect / direct taxation & accounting
8-10 years for semi-qualified accountants (CA-Inter, CWA-Inter) & MBA (finance)
1-3 years for qualified accountants (CAs / CWAs)
