Your day-to-day impact:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing LATAM Tax Compliance team, setting clear priorities, goals, and fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement;
- Own end-to-end tax compliance across multiple LATAM jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings for direct and indirect taxes (VAT, WHT, CIT, and local taxes);
- Manage tax audits and interactions with local authorities, assessing risks, tracking contingencies, and ensuring strong documentation and audit readiness;
- Partner with business, product, and regulatory teams to support new payment flows, ensuring accurate tax treatment and compliance in operational structures;
- Drive process excellence by standardizing compliance frameworks, implementing scalable controls, and identifying automation opportunities across the region;
- Manage external tax advisors, ensuring consistency in technical positions, quality of deliverables, and cost efficiency;
- Maintain compliance dashboards and reporting, tracking KPIs, deadlines, risks, and providing visibility to Tax Leadership;
Must-haves to shine in this role:
- Proven experience leading and developing tax teams, ideally across multiple LATAM countries;
- Strong background in LATAM tax compliance, including direct and indirect taxes;
- Solid experience managing tax audits and dealing with local tax authorities across the region;
- Experience with tax credits recoverability and statutory obligations management;
- Ability to navigate complex, fast-paced environments with a high level of ownership and accountability;
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to partner cross-functionally;
