Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist in filing federal, state, and local income tax returns.
- Support the calculation and filing of sales & use tax, property tax, and other business taxes.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax provisions in compliance with ASC 740 (if applicable).
- Maintain accurate tax workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Addressing tax notices and following up with them with various jurisdictions
- Research tax laws, rulings, and regulations to support compliance and planning activities.
- Prepare technical memos and summaries for review by senior tax staff.
- Assist in gathering data and responding to inquiries during tax audits.
- Maintain organized records to support tax positions and minimize risk.
- Work with Finance, Accounting, and other departments to gather tax-related information.
- Provide basic tax support on business transactions and projects as needed.
- Stay current with evolving tax regulations and participate in ongoing learning.
- Work under the mentorship of senior tax staff to build technical and analytical skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in tax, public accounting, or a related field.
- CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax regulations; exposure to ASC 740 preferred.
- Proficiency in tax compliance software (e.g., PTMS) and Alteryx.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits:
