Job DescriptionTHIS ROLE:
The role serves as the primary point person for tax and statutory compliance, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation, filing, and submission of all tax returns, including withholding taxes, VAT, and income tax returns. It involves maintaining and reconciling tax working papers, safeguarding supporting documents, and ensuring all compliance records are properly organized and aligned with their corresponding tax filings. The position also acts as the main liaison between the company and external tax consultants, provides support during month-end and year-end closing processes as well as statutory audits, and assists in budgeting and forecasting activities related to tax and compliance matters.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- You'll serve as the primary point of contact for tax and statutory compliance, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and coordinating with external tax consultants.
- You'll prepare, maintain, and reconcile tax working papers, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and aligned with corresponding tax returns.
- You'll manage the timely filing and submission of all tax returns, including withholding taxes, VAT, and income tax returns.
- You'll ensure supporting documents and compliance records are properly maintained, organized, and readily available for reporting and audit purposes.
- You'll support month-end and year-end closing activities, statutory audits, and budgeting and forecasting initiatives related to tax and compliance.

ABOUT YOU:
- You'll hold a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and bring at least 2 years of experience in Philippine tax accounting.
- You'll ideally have experience with PEZA and/or BOI compliance, though this is preferred and not required.
- You'll demonstrate strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- You'll be a self-starter with a high sense of responsibility, accountability, and self-discipline.
- You'll possess excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Skills Required
