Tax Analyst

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our Finance team at CureMD. This role involves preparing accurate tax reports, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and keeping up to date with tax legislation to minimize risk and ensure compliance. The Tax Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing tax processes, identifying opportunities for tax savings, and contributing to the company’s financial objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including income, sales, and other applicable taxes.

• Assist in developing tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities and identify potential savings opportunities.

• Conduct detailed analyses of tax accounts and collaborate with the finance team to address and resolve discrepancies.

• Support tax audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with internal and external auditors.

• Stay updated on tax law and regulation changes to ensure compliance and advise on necessary adjustments.

• Assist in transfer pricing documentation and analyze intercompany transactions for compliance.

• Provide tax insights and reports to senior management, highlighting potential risks and opportunities.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of tax processes, workflows, and systems for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's/master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 - 3 years of taxation experience.

• Solid understanding of federal, state, and international tax regulations.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial transactions.

• Proficiency with accounting software, especially QuickBooks, is a plus.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

• Demonstrated capability to handle unexpected challenges and a collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively and ensure smooth operations.

• Ability to work on-site during hybrid-shift timings (12:00 PM PKST to 9:00 PM PKST).
