Tax Analyst (U.S Compliance)

This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for a Tax Analyst

The individual will play a key role in supporting U.S. Domestic Compliance and Income Tax

Provision functions, directly reporting to Sr manager of Income tax compliance & Reporting. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated, attention to details and collaborative individual with growth mindset, relevant corporate tax experience and curiosity to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the monthly close process, quarterly and year end income tax provision process

• Maintain Corptax Tax Provision and tax attributes modules.

• Prepare the U.S. federal and state income tax return supporting workpapers and assist

  in reviewing the income tax returns prepared by external service provider.

• Prepare remittance of quarterly federal and state tax estimated payments.

• Assist with income tax notices and assist with tax audits.

• Assist with annual R&D tax credit study.

• Assist with the SOX 404 compliance, ensure timely performance of SOX 404 documentations.

• Assist with ad hoc tax projects.

• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate tax processes, leveraging technology.

Required Qualifications:

• BS in accounting or finance related degree is required.

• 2+ years of corporate tax experience with public accounting firm and/or corporate tax

  department.

• Basic knowledge of US federal and state tax regulations and reporting.

• Proficiency with Excel.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills; Detail oriented with ability to work

  independently and can drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS in taxation, CPA preferred

• Experience with corporate tax preparation software (One source, Corptax, etc.), ERP

  systems

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong knowledge of ASC 740, IFRS, IRC41.
