About the Role: Tax Preparer
As our firm continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Tax Preparer who will report directly to the Tax Manager and collaborate closely with our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tax returns for LLCs & S Corps with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collect and input relevant financial records into tax software.
- Complete and file tax documents with appropriate agencies.
- Prepare and file payroll and sales tax returns.
- Collaborate with clients and their bookkeeping teams to provide tax strategies and ensure accurate financials.
- Assist with new client onboarding and other projects as needed.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to promote and expand the business.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, calm, and adaptable Tax Preparer who thrives on accuracy and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. If you have prior experience in tax preparation and are ready to bring your superior organizational skills to a forward-thinking firm, we’d love to hear from you.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficiency with ProConnect, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Word, and the Microsoft Suite.
- Must have prior tax preparation experience.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Schedule: Available to work 5 days a week during core hours (9-5 EST). Some weeks offer flexibility and fewer hours.
- Compensation: $15-$25 per hour, depending on experience.
- Location: We are only accepting applicants from TN, NC, OH, FL, AL, IA, IL, TX.
