What You Will Do:
At Independent Software, as a Target Analyst Reporter Level 2, you will research, analyze, and report intelligence in support of mission requirements. You will evaluate information from multiple sources, develop intelligence products, and provide timely reporting that supports customer decision-making and situational awareness.
In this role, you will collaborate with collectors and analysts to refine collection and reporting requirements, build target knowledge, and ensure intelligence products are accurate, relevant, and ready for release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, analyze, and report intelligence in response to mission requirements
- Assess and evaluate information from multiple sources to identify relevant intelligence
- Prepare and disseminate intelligence products using appropriate reporting vehicles
- Identify and report developments, trends, indications and warnings, and situational awareness related to specific targets
- Collaborate with collectors and analysts to refine collection and reporting requirements
- Share target-related information and provide feedback to customers
- Support development of databases and working aids to build target knowledge and improve collection
- Identify potential countermeasures and courses of action when applicable
- Maintain awareness of internal and external customer requirements
- Perform pre-release quality control of intelligence products
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience researching, analyzing, and reporting intelligence
- Experience with SIGINT reporting and collection
- Knowledge of relevant intelligence tools and methodologies
- Ability to evaluate and synthesize information from multiple sources
- Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills
- Experience using RAD and CSPACE for intelligence analysis and reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with collectors, analysts, and customers
- Ability to produce accurate, timely, and mission-relevant intelligence products
Education and Experience:
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- High school diploma or GED plus nine (9) years of relevant experience; OR
- Associate’s degree plus seven (7) years of relevant experience; OR
- Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of relevant experience; OR
- Master’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience; OR
- Doctoral degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience
Clearance Requirement:
- Must possess an active TS SCI with appropriate Polygraph to be considered for this role

Skills Required
- Ability to research, analyze and report intelligence.
- Experience with SIGINT reporting and collection.
- Experience using CSPACE or similar agency reporting tools.
- Experience with both RAD and GV.
- Experience editing and/or releasing reports.
- Knowledge of agency specific tools and methodologies.
- Strong critical thinking and collaboration skills.
- Relevant mission-related experience (collection, cyber, intelligence analysis) including drafting/editing intelligence reports.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
- Degree in a liberal arts field (English, History, Communications, Languages, Intl Relations, Political Science).
