Job Description:
Talent Sourcer- Talent Acquisition team, India location
A specialized recruitment professional who focuses on the "top of the funnel"—identifying, researching, and engaging potential candidates before they even apply for a job. Unlike general recruiters who manage the entire hiring process, sourcers are experts at finding "passive talent" who aren't actively looking but are highly qualified.
Core Responsibilities
- Candidate Identification: Use advanced search techniques like Boolean search on platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri and any AI tools to find volume/niche talent.
- Pipeline Building: Proactively create "talent maps" and maintain a steady pool of qualified candidates for future openings to reduce time-to-hire.
- Initial Outreach: Craft personalized, brand-aligned recruiting emails and messages to spark interest in the company and its roles.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to define "ideal candidate" personas and align on sourcing strategies.
- Data Management: Keep the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or CRM i.e. Workday updated with candidate information and sourcing metrics.
- Market Intelligence: Provide insights into competitor talent pools, salary trends, and market availability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Sourcing: Mastery of Boolean operators, X-ray searching, and various sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Naukri, ChatGPT etc).
- Communication: Exceptional written skills for cold outreach and verbal skills for initial "interest" screenings.
- Networking: Ability to build long-term relationships through social media, industry forums, and networking events.
- Education: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or a related field, though relevant experience often takes precedence.
