In this role, you will play a key part in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent for our Engineering and Operations divisions. You will also have the opportunity to assist with other roles as necessary, including those based in the United States and Europe.

As a partner to our business, you will uphold high recruiting standards and continuously work to enhance our hiring practices.

What You’ll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for a defined set of roles - build relationships with the best talent in the tech ecosystem and find creative ways to connect with people.

  • Focus on quality over quantity: a lean team of A+ talent beats a large team of B-players, and that starts with your pipeline.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers on their searches - calibrate scorecards, advise on process, and keep searches moving.

  • Treat recruiting like half art, half science: find creative ways to position Rho with strong operators, A/B test your messaging, and take a human-first approach.

  • Track your metrics and own hitting them - time to close, pipeline health, and headcount goals.

  • Go where you're needed. Everyone at Rho goes beyond their job description - whether that's hiring for an Engineering role or walking a candidate to their interview room, this role is no exception.

 

What You Bring

  • 3 or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally with a technical emphasis

  • A passion for experimentation and craft: you multiply your leverage with AI and are always looking for a better way to work

  • Experience operating in high-accountability environments (startups, fintech, financial services, or similarly rigorous orgs).

  • High ownership and accountability—you take responsibility for getting the job done.

  • Knowledge of the talent market—where to find excellent builders, and how to speak their language.

  • Operational excellence—you know how to run a disciplined search.

  • Clear, persuasive communication and storytelling skills.

  • A bias toward action and a sense of ownership.

  • Experience tracking metrics and utilizing data to make decisions, including time to close and headcount goals

  • A track record of hitting or exceeding performance goals consistently by engaging and closing hires that move on to be successful in their roles
