The Talent Operations Manager will oversee functions within all areas HR operations, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of HR services across the firm. This role is critical in implementing HR strategies, processes and programs that support and deliver excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, excellent organizational skills, technology, and a passion for enhancing the employee experience. This position will lead the current team that includes Talent Acquisition Operations and Human Resources Operations Specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and implement HR operational strategies that support the overall business objectives.
- Lead and mentor the HR operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior HR leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
- Drive the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a change agent, guiding the HR team and broader organization through HR-related changes.
- Lead change management initiatives related to HR operations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
Talent Operations and Employee Experience:
- Lead the design, implementation, and administration of talent operational processes that support and deliver an exceptional employee experience.
- Develop scalable methodologies, processes, workflows, and tools to optimize talent operations and streamline core processes throughout the full employee lifecycle.
- Ensure effective onboarding, orientation, and processes for new hires.
- Manage coordination of recruiting, talent management, immigration and payroll on employee mobility moves and new hire relocations; ensure tax compliance.
- Direct life-cycle operations of non-employee contractors and support businesses with alternative staffing arrangements.
- Oversee the management of employee files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes and documentation to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Advise on HR-related legal and regulatory changes and implications for the organization; develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with legal standards and align with the organization's goals.
- Oversee DRW’s internal intranet to ensure global consistency and easy navigation to enhance the employee experience
Collaboration and Consultation:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide consultation, process design, and project management of HR program implementations and initiatives.
- Partner with talent acquisition to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to improve HR service delivery and employee satisfaction.
- Help partner on succession planning and career development initiatives with Talent Management team.
Operational Efficiency:
- Streamline HR processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor HR people metrics to assess the performance of HR operations.
- Implement best practices in HR operations to ensure consistency and efficiencies across global DRW.
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports to provide insights to senior leadership.
- Lead efforts to leverage technology and automation to enhance HR processes and service delivery.
