This role helps the Talent Development & Culture function deliver scalable, effective, and data-driven talent programs that support AXIS business priorities. You will serve as a key operational partner responsible for executing and continuously improving talent processes, workflows, technology solutions, reporting, and project delivery across the employee lifecycle. Success in this role will be measured through operational excellence, process effectiveness, technology adoption, data integrity, and the ability to translate business needs into practical talent solutions that improve the employee and manager experience.

What will you do in this role?

Talent Program & Process Operations

  • You will lead operational execution of Talent Development & Culture processes and initiatives, ensuring programs are delivered consistently, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives and the strategy set by Talent & Culture team leaders.
  • You will manage end-to-end administration and operational delivery of core talent processes including goal setting, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, employee engagement activities, learning programs, and development processes.
  • You will support Workday and other HR technology activities by coordinating testing, documenting issues, validating data, and helping implement process improvements.
  • You will maintain operating calendars, project plans, action trackers, and implementation materials so work is organized, visible, and delivered on time.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • You will review current processes to identify manual work, duplication, pain points, and opportunities to simplify or automate how work gets done.
  • You will gather business requirements and translate them into clear process documentation, job aids, standard operating procedures, testing plans, and implementation materials.
  • You will partner with HR Technology, HR Operations, HR Business Partners, People Analytics, vendors, and business stakeholders to support effective program and process delivery.

Reporting, Insights & Data Quality

  • You will help maintain accurate talent, learning, engagement, and performance data, resolving discrepancies and improving consistency.
  • You will help create and analyze reports, dashboards, trackers, and summaries that show participation, completion, adoption, and program effectiveness.
  • You will help the team use Microsoft 365, AI, automation, Workday, and other digital tools to reduce manual effort and improve the employee and manager experience.

You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

What you need to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting HR, talent, learning, performance management, employee lifecycle, business analysis, program coordination, project coordination, or similar work in a corporate environment.
  • Able to manage multiple timelines, track deliverables, identify risks, and communicate clear updates to stakeholders.
  • Able to document processes, organize information, support implementation activities, and follow through on open actions.
  • Able to use Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, to organize work, prepare materials, analyze information, and communicate with others.
  • Able to interpret information from multiple sources, identify issues or patterns, and translate findings into practical recommendations or next steps.
  • Able to communicate clearly with HR colleagues, business stakeholders, vendors, and employees through written updates, presentations, process guides, and day-to-day interactions.
  • Able to handle confidential employee information with discretion and sound judgment.
What we prefer you to have:
  • Experience using Workday or a similar HR technology platform to support process administration, reporting, testing, or data validation.
  • Experience gathering business requirements, coordinating testing, validating data, supporting reporting, or contributing to process or technology enhancements.
  • Experience using learning management systems, survey tools, reporting dashboards, data visualization tools, or other HR/business platforms.
  • Experience working with HR Technology, HR Operations, HR Business Partners, People Analytics, vendors, or business stakeholders.
  • Able to use AI, automation, Microsoft 365, and digital tools to simplify processes, reduce manual effort, and improve employee or manager experience.
Role Factors:

In this role, you will typically be required to:

Be in the office 3 days per week

Open to hiring in 3 office locations: NYC (midtown), Short Hills NJ, or Stamford CT

What we offer:

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $105k to $120k (NY), $100k to $115k (NJ or CT). Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.

In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance. On top of this, you will be eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package which includes medical plans for you and your family, health and wellness programs, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, and much more. 

Where this role is based in the United States of America, this role is Exempt for FLSA purposes.
