About the role
As the Talent Management Lead at Sylndr, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing talent strategies, leading the performance management cycle, and driving learning and leadership development programs. You will be responsible for shaping and executing talent initiatives that support Sylndr’s growth, creating high-performing teams, and aligning employee objectives with business goals. This position is ideal for an experienced professional looking to make a meaningful impact on organizational effectiveness and culture.
What will you do
- Lead Performance Feedback Cycle: Manage the performance feedback cycle from initiation to completion. Oversee scheduling, communication, and alignment, ensuring the process runs smoothly and supports employee development.
- Performance Calibration and Reporting: Participate in performance calibration sessions with managers to ensure evaluation consistency and fairness. Conduct regular reporting and analysis on performance trends, strengths, and areas for improvement across the organization.
- Objective Setting and OKRs: Assist managers in setting clear objectives, OKRs, and team targets, ensuring alignment with Sylndr's strategic goals. Guide effective goal-setting practices that drive accountability and engagement.
- Talent Strategy and Succession Planning: Define and lead Sylndr’s talent strategy, including succession planning, talent reviews, and internal career path development to nurture and retain top talent.
- Learning & Development Programs: Design and implement structured L&D programs tailored to different career paths, including Management and Expert tracks, ensuring alignment with Sylndr’s values and growth objectives.
- Leadership Development: Develop and deliver targeted leadership development programs to cultivate effective and inspiring leaders at all levels.
- Individualized Development Support: Act as the primary resource for individualized development plans, providing coaching, mentoring, and external support as needed.
- Talent Needs Analysis and Customization: Conduct needs assessments to identify individual and organizational development requirements, customizing programs for optimal impact.
- Budget and Partnership Management: Manage the L&D budget, negotiating with external vendors and maximizing resources to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness in all talent programs.
Who you are
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years in talent management, performance management, or people development, ideally with experience in leading performance management cycles and supporting OKR and objective-setting processes.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with performance management systems and HRIS is preferred, along with a strong understanding of talent development best practices.
- Analytical and Data-Driven: Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform decisions and report on performance management and talent metrics. Strong quantitative skills are a plus.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Leadership and Influence: Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to drive change, inspire others, and foster alignment with talent development goals.
- Budget and Resource Management: Proven budget management skills, with experience in tracking and optimizing expenditures and building partnerships with external vendors.
- Hands-On and Proactive: A hands-on approach with the ability to develop strategies and execute them effectively. You have a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a passion for driving results.
