The Talent Logistics Coordinator will support the recruiting and onboarding processes for Mechanical Claims and Customer Service Analysts within JM&A Group’s Customer Services department. This role will work closely with Talent Acquisition and external recruiting agencies to attract qualified candidates, schedule interviews, and manage all onboarding logistics. The Talent Management Coordinator's goal is to help ensure new hires have a seamless transition, setting them up for success in their new roles.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department leaders to understand current and future hiring needs, partnering with Talent Acquisition and recruiting agencies accordingly.
- Coordinate all aspects of the interview process, including scheduling interviews and managing travel and on-site logistics, to ensure candidates have a seamless experience.
- Oversee logistics in preparation of new hires’ start dates including scheduling training, assisting with travel, ordering needed equipment, and facilitating system access requests.
- Act as the primary point-of-contact during the new hires initial week(s) addressing IT issues, logistical questions, and personal situations to support their onboarding experience.
- Provide administrative support related to talent management such as invoicing, hiring documentation, post-onboarding assessment scores, and any applicable retention trends.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions
Qualifications:
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Solid computer literacy, including solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.
- Proven ability to assess the urgency, impact, and dependencies of various tasks and projects, ensuring time and resources are allocated effectively to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Skilled in managing and coordinating schedules and logistics, ensuring smooth program operations.
- Proactive in enhancing operational workflows by identifying areas for improvement and asking insightful questions.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee sensitive information with the utmost confidence and discretion.
