The Talent Programs Coordinator-Variable Staffing Pool (VSP) supports the successful delivery of leadership development programs through exceptional coordination, logistics management, stakeholder support, and operational execution. You will ensure a seamless experience for participants, facilitators, and partners by managing program logistics, materials, technology, communications, and onsite execution.
This is a growth-oriented, individual contributor role and is designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will have operational ownership and will design, deliver, and scale enterprise talent programs to learn and share how they work. While execution is core to the role, you will provide exposure to program strategy, data driven decision making, and process innovation.
This role is part of the Variable Staffing Pool( VSP), which pays at an hourly rate. VSP Humana associates work part to full time hours based on business need. VSPs are not eligible for associate bonuses and receive limited benefits, which are effective upon hire. The hours for this role are generally aligned based on the associate and business task at hand.

Key Responsibilities

Program Coordination and Execution

  • Coordinate logistics and operational activities for leadership development, talent, and early in career learning programs.
  • Manage multiple programs, cohorts, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, checklists, schedules, and run-of-show documents to ensure flawless execution.

Logistics, Materials & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate program materials, printing, inventory, shipping, and supply management.
  • Manage relationships and logistics with facilities, catering, venues, AV teams, and other partners.
  • Ensure meeting spaces, technology, and learning materials are prepared and ready for delivery.

Facilitator & Participant Experience

  • Partner with facilitators to prepare materials, resources, and session logistics.
  • Deliver a professional, organized, and high-quality experience for leaders and participants.
  • Anticipate needs, address issues, and provide responsive support throughout program delivery.
  • Serve as a point of contact for program participants and internal stakeholders

Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving

  • Resolve logistical challenges quickly while minimizing disruption to the participant experience.
  • Identify risks, proactively develop contingency plans, and recommend process improvements.
  • Capture lessons learned and support ongoing enhancement of program operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in coordination, operations, HR, events, or program support
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in multi-faceted people management and coordination, fostering team development and organizational growth through leadership, strategic collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%, based on business need and planning
  • Strong communication skills and professional presence
  • Proactive mindset with a desire to learn and grow
  • Comfort identifying inefficiencies and contributing to scalable, data‑informed solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
  • Experience supporting training programs, events, conferences, or talent initiatives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Zoom, and presentation technology.
  • Experience working with senior leaders, facilitators, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Additional Information

Individuals selected for this role must live near Humana's Louisville, KY, or Washington, DC offices, as the position is primarily onsite and requires regular in-person support for talent programs.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$65,000 - $88,600 per year
