Part of the Digital Industry and Talent Group in IMDA, the Human Capital Cluster (HCC) division seeks to strategise and develop talent attraction initiatives to help Singapore position itself to capture opportunities in the digital economy. You will be part of HCC’s Talent Development division that manages programmes to identify and groom a pipeline of talent to drive the Digital Economy and be the next generation of leaders in the infocomm media (ICM) sector.
What you will be working on:
- Industry development and engagement – Work closely with various industry partners ranging from MNCs, Large local enterprises, Startups, SMEs to overseas employers based in key tech hubs such as Silicon Valley to understand their leadership talent needs and develop strategies to collaborate with them on SG Digital Leadership Accelerator, IMDA’s leadership talent network consisting of tech and media leaders coming through various talent schemes such as the SG Digital Scholarship and SG Digital Leaders.
- Programme management – plan, manage and run key leadership programmes under the SG Digital Leadership Accelerator, such as the SG Digital Leaders – a leadership development initiative aiming at growing a pipeline of Singaporean C-suite leaders in the tech and media ecosystem, as well as the SG Digital Scholarship - a unique industry scholarship that develops the future generation of tech and media leaders for Singapore. Be the talent partner to our scholars and leaders and advise them on career development and progression.
- Stakeholder relationship management – manage key stakeholder relationships in the universe of IMDA’s leadership talent programmes, including government agencies, institutes of high learning, industry associations and sector champions.
- Business process re-engineering and digitalisation - Support ongoing data analytics and process automation projects to enable effective outcome tracking and management reporting across our leadership talent programmes.
What we are looking for:
- Degree qualification with preferably 5-8 years of working experience in ICT/Media industry in account management, partnerships, talent development or talent management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage senior stakeholders (e.g. corporate leaders, human resource directors, start-up founders) from the tech and media industries, as well as partner agencies.
- Passion to build leadership talent for the ICT/Media industry and work with aspiring leaders across different stages of career, from graduates to C-suite.
- Good networking skills to build long-term relationships with dynamic companies.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills to analyse situations and make sound judgements. Result-driven self-starter and able to deliver in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Comfortable working with different technology platforms.
- Great attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication details to handle a wide range of stakeholders.
