What you’ll do
  • Own Ironclad’s performance management practices, including bi-annual feedback and performance cycles.

  • Lead promotion processes and calibration practices to support thoughtful, differentiated talent decisions across the company.

  • Drive talent reviews and succession planning creating clear operating rhythms, inputs, and decision frameworks for leaders.

  • Develop and evolve talent frameworks, performance standards, and calibration guidance that drive consistent, high-quality talent decisions.

  • Partner with PBPs and functional leaders to identify talent themes, risks, and opportunities, and translate them into action.

  • Own company wide comms and engagement related to programming, rollouts and timelines.

  • Build scalable tools, and guidance that improve consistency, clarity, and manager confidence in talent decisions.

  • Identify opportunities to embed AI into talent programs and workflows to drive efficiency, decision making and acceleration.

  • In partnership with People Operations, lead the configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of the systems that power talent management programs, ensuring scalable, efficient, and high-quality employee and manager experiences.

What we’re looking for
  • Experience owning or leading performance management, promotion, calibration, and talent review programs in a scaling organization.

  • Drives effective cross-functional collaboration by involving key stakeholders at critical decision points to gain alignment before execution.

  • Proven track record of strong PBP partnerships to execute programs and partnership with People Operations on systems and analytics.

  • Strong judgment in talent practices and the ability to balance rigor, practicality, and employee experience.

  • Strong program management skills owning end to end company wide programming and stakeholder management.

  • Ability to turn ambiguous talent questions into structured insights.

  • Analytical and systems-oriented thinking, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Performance cycles run smoothly, with clear expectations, strong adoption, and actionable outputs for employees and managers.

  • Promotion and calibration processes are trusted, consistent, and support differentiated talent outcomes.

  • Leaders have better visibility into talent, stronger succession conversations, and clearer plans for developing and moving internal talent.

  • Talent programs feel integrated with the work of PBPs and Learning & Development rather than overlapping or fragmented.

Location: San Francisco - Hybrid

Base Salary Range: $165,000 - $205,000 + offers bonus

The base salary range represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position based at our San Francisco headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors, including individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and the location of the selected candidate.
