Nox Metals is a technology company in Detroit supplying aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.
We need a Talent Acquisition Specialist with one of the highest bars in the company. Nox is built by the people we hire, and the bar is non-negotiable. You find cracked, mission-aligned individuals, you sell them on the work, and you close them. You will:
Own recruiting end to end across software, operations, supply chain, and sales
Hold a high bar on every hire, every role, every shift, no exceptions
Be the cultural firewall, every candidate you advance is aligned with the mission and the way Nox operates
Source relentlessly across inbound, outbound, and referrals, build warm pipelines before roles open
Run intake, screening, debriefs, offers, and onboarding, you own the loop end to end
You should be:
Strong recruiting track record, in-house or agency, hiring exceptional people across functions
Deeply aligned with our culture, mission, and standards, this is non-negotiable
Comfortable hiring across the full Nox spectrum, software engineers, operators, sales, supply chain, etc.
High agency, low ego, customer obsessed (your customers are hiring managers and candidates)
Organized, fast, and relentless under pressure
Committed to safety on the floor when you are recruiting on it
Not afraid to work outside normal hours when America demands it

Nice to have:
Recruiting at an early-stage technology, manufacturing, defense, or industrial company
Experience hiring across both blue collar and technical roles
Network in Detroit, the broader Midwest, and the American manufacturing and defense ecosystem
Comfortable using AI tools to work faster and smarter
This role is full time, in person in Detroit.
Skills Required
- Proven recruiting track record (in-house or agency) hiring across multiple functions
- Experience recruiting across software, operations, supply chain, and sales
- End-to-end recruiting ownership including intake, screening, debriefs, offers, and onboarding
- Strong sourcing skills across inbound, outbound, and referrals; able to build warm pipelines
- Deep alignment with company culture and ability to assess cultural fit
- Able to work onsite full-time in Detroit
- Willingness to work outside normal hours when needed
- Organized, fast, relentless under pressure with high initiative and low ego
- Commitment to safety when recruiting on the shop floor
- Flexible ownership mindset; willing to take responsibility beyond narrow job boundaries
- Recruiting at an early-stage technology, manufacturing, defense, or industrial company
- Experience hiring both blue-collar and technical roles
