About the Role
We're hiring a resilient, driven, and people-focused Talent Acquisition Associate to fuel our growth across Solen HQ and our portfolio companies. This is a sourcing-heavy, high-volume role: you'll spend most of your time proactively hunting for talent, running outreach at scale, and keeping a large, fast-moving pipeline organised and on track. You'll own recruitment end-to-end and work closely with hiring managers and our Director of Talent to build high-performing teams, fast.
This is a global role. You'll take responsibility for talent acquisition across our teams and portfolio companies in the United States, Canada, Europe, Brazil, and Australia — running processes across all five regions and partnering with hiring managers in multiple markets and time zones.
If you love the chase — finding people who aren't looking, writing outreach that actually gets replies, and filling roles at pace without losing your grip on the details — this role is built for you.
Our office
This role is based in our Lisbon office with hybrid flexibility. We warmly welcome international candidates who already live in Portugal or are planning to relocate. If you're excited about building your career here, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Source relentlessly. Proactively identify, engage, and build relationships with high-quality candidates across multiple channels and platforms — don't wait for them to apply.
- Run high-volume outreach. Manage large pipelines across many open roles at once, with personalised, high-response outreach and disciplined follow-up.
- Own full-cycle recruitment. Take roles from intake to offer across a wide range of functions and departments.
- Partner with hiring managers. Define hiring needs, ideal candidate profiles, and tailored interview processes.
- Stay organised at scale. Keep your ATS and pipelines clean, accurate, and up to date so no role — and no candidate — slips through the cracks.
- Work the data. Use LinkedIn Recruiter, your ATS, and recruitment analytics to track funnel health, improve sourcing efficiency, and reduce time-to-hire.
- Report and advise. Share regular insights on pipeline activity, recruitment metrics, and what's working.
- Help shape strategy. Support the development and execution of our global talent acquisition strategy.
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in talent acquisition, sourcing, or recruitment — ideally including high-volume hiring.
- A genuine sourcer at heart, with a track record of proactively finding and engaging passive candidates at scale.
- Exceptionally organised, with strong attention to detail — you can juggle many open roles at once without dropping any.
- High level of initiative, accountability, and persistence — you find solutions and deliver results.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities, with a proactive, can-do mindset.
- Comfortable working across multiple regions and time zones, coordinating with international stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Based in Portugal, or willing to relocate, with the right to work in Portugal (or eligibility to obtain it).
Nice to Have
- Experience in M&A, or sourcing talent for acquired companies.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS platforms.
- Additional languages — particularly Portuguese or other European languages.

Solen-isms (How We Operate)
· Ownership Mindset: We own the mission. We don't wait to be told. We lead, fix, and build as if it were ours. When problems arise, we run toward them, not away.
· Benchmark to Best: We seek out excellence. We measure ourselves against the best and adapt quickly, always looking for the edge that moves us forward.
· Openly Self-Critical: Leaders go first: they surface their misses early, ask for direct feedback, and turn “game film” into better decisions and better systems.
· Disagree & Commit: Leaders disagree openly and constructively, regardless of title or tenure, because truth is how we avoid bureaucracy and benchmark to best.
· Figureitoutiveness: Embracing challenges, fostering growth, and taking initiative, leaders thrive on hard work and high failure tolerance.
· Mutual Elevation: Committed to growth, elevating teams, developing future leaders, and removing barriers to mastery and joy.
· Learn-it-alls: Learn-it-alls, not know-it-alls, embracing failure as part of growth and progress.
· Pioneering: Pioneering driven by opportunity, using first principles thinking and unbound by tradition or rules.
· Will to Win: Leaders relentlessly pursue potential, reject mediocrity, and get what they tolerate.
· Dialectical: We learn through conversation. We ask, listen, question, and evolve — valuing disagreement as a tool for alignment and deeper understanding.
· Frugality: Achieving more with less, focusing on quality, long-term value, and company-wide responsibility.
· Candor: We communicate with integrity, transparency, and respect in all conversations.
· Kaizen: Kaizen is continuous improvement as a way of life. Leaders make hundreds of small upgrades that compound, turning lessons into standards and standards into durable systems.
