Every nurse, caregiver, therapist, clinician, and support professional we hire helps improve the lives of patients and families throughout our community. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a critical role in helping us build the workforce that delivers compassionate care every day.
What You'll DoAs a member of our Human Resources team, you will:
✔ Support full-cycle recruitment activities for a variety of healthcare and non-healthcare positions
✔ Source and engage qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and community outreach
✔ Conduct candidate screenings and phone interviews
✔ Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates and hiring managers
✔ Manage candidate activity within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
✔ Assist with employment offers, pre-employment processes, and onboarding transitions
✔ Participate in career fairs, community events, and recruitment marketing initiatives
✔ Help create a positive and engaging candidate experience from application to hire
✔ Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs

• Organized and detail-oriented
• Passionate about recruiting and helping others succeed
• Comfortable managing multiple openings and competing priorities
• An excellent communicator with strong customer service skills
• Relationship-focused and able to build trust with candidates and hiring managers
• Technology savvy and comfortable using ATS and HR systems
Qualifications• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required;
• Two or more years of recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or related experience preferred
• Healthcare recruitment experience preferred
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment technology preferred
• Professional HR or Talent Acquisition certification is a plus

What We Do
Big Bend Hospice is a non-profit organization established in 1983 that provides comprehensive end-of-life, hospice, and palliative care services to patients and families across the Big Bend region of Florida. They focus on compassionate, patient-centered care, offering support through medical teams, social workers, spiritual counselors, and bereavement services to ensure comfort and dignity during serious illness.
